National Renewable Energy Laboratory researchers believe technical information exchange and collaboration are critical to the United States PV industry success. The following events and meetings are of interest to partners of NREL Photovoltaics (PV) Research and the National Center for Photovoltaics (NCPV).

International Photovoltaic Reliability Workshop

As the PV industry continues its rapid expansion, it must emphasize the quality and reliability of its products to further secure public trust and thereby avoid premature, irreversible setback if affected by large-scale reliability issues. This workshop serves as the first of two planned activities designed to address these quality and reliability issues. Any individuals closely involved in PV manufacturing, marketing, installation, application use, and decision-making, and concerned with PV product quality and performance reliability, are highly encouraged to participate.

3rd International Congress of University Industry Cooperation (UNINDU 2008)

34th IEEE Photovoltaic Specialists Conference 

June 7 - 12, 2009

The Photovoltaic Specialists Conference presents groundbreaking research papers on all aspects of photovoltaic-relevant materials, devices, systems and applications. This year's Technical Program will encompass nine programmatic areas covering topics from novel materials and devices, thin-film cells made from CIGS and CdTe and emerging semiconductors, crystalline and amorphous silicon, III-V cells, concentrator devices and systems, and module and system experience including reliability studies. The deadline for electronic abstract submission is January 14, 2009.

The largest Solar Power Conference in the United States about the U.S. solar industry and market opportunities.  The conference is sponsored by the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) and the Solar Electric Power Association (SEPA).

Clean Energy Power International Trade Fair for Renewable Energy and Passive House 

October 29 - 31, 2009

International Trade Fair for Renewable Energies and Energy Efficient Building. For the 5th time, worldwide experts meet in order to exchange know-how, present experiences from the practice and offer advice gained through research and development and ensuring this knowledge is quickly transferred into action.
