		<description>The U.S. Department of Energy's National Renewable Energy Laboratory and Bandimere Speedway will preview advanced technology vehicles like those to be demonstrated and tested at NREL in the coming months. Department of Energy Assistant Secretary for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Alexander Karsner will be joined by NREL Director Dan Arvizu in driving advanced technology vehicles at Bandimere Speedway.  NREL and Bandimere Speedway will also announce an educational partnership, in which local high school students will learn about advanced technology vehicles during Bandimere Speedway’s Take it to the Tracks event, while racing cars in a safe environment rather than on city streets.    </description>
