Timeline for the Best Practices: State Clean Energy Policies Analysis Project
The following outlines the timeline for various project deliverables under the Best Practices: State Clean Energy Policies Analysis (SCEPA) project, a collaborative effort to better understand the environmental, economic, and energy security impacts of state policies using a uniform methodology.

Summer 2007: Technical Committee meetings for project design and development. The collaborative project work plan (MS Word 120 KB) is listed in the Resources page.
Summer 2007-Fall 2008: Information dissemination regarding project development, implementations, and outcomes. This includes Webcasts on results of policy impact evaluation as well as the challenges of that evaluation. The Webcast section has a list of upcoming events.
November 2007: The initial framework for evaluating policy impacts is available on this Web site. This includes the timeline (Excel 40 KB) for evaluating specific policies and delivering the results to the public.
May 2008: Volume 1: State Policy Options — Impacts of different policies on typical state drivers released. This report will summarize findings on initial policy types evaluated. It will also contain details on evaluation challenges and areas of further development.
July 2008: Report on tools available to states for further policy analysis and development released.
October 2008: Volume 2: State Policy Options — Impacts of different policies on typical state drivers released. This report will summarize findings on policy types evaluated in April-August. It will also contain details on evaluation challenges and areas of further development, and detailed listings of next steps for states developing policies.
